1st grade program

First let me start by saying that my camera does not take good pictures in Christy's school, for some reason they turn out yellow. On Wednesday Christy had her end of the year first grade program. They sang songs, read books and received awards. Christy's group read "Hattie and the fox". Christy was Hattie. She did so good. After the program we had a special lunch. I am so proud of Christy. She did so good this school year despite all her trials. Her reading has improved so much. My cute little angel.

FHE

So a couple Mondays ago we went with the Waddells to the Temple for FHE. This picture is a classic example of one of Christy's many fits. Just imagine driving past the Temple and seeing a screaming, crying six year old being drug around by a mad woman, who at first glance you are not sure if it's her mother or someone trying to kidnap this beautiful little girl. So you wonder do I call the cops or do I feel sorry for this woman?
And this is my beautiful daughter Christy(who just moments before was being drug around by a mad woman). I really do love this picture. She is my little angel. Thanks Waddells for letting us accompany you for FHE, and thanks Amber for taking this two amazing pictures.

The Temple

I went thru the St. George Temple on Friday May 9th. What an amazing experience. I was very blessed to have many family and friends with me as I went thru. We took a ton of pictures. I only put a few on here. My dad got to officiate the session and my bestest sister Amber and her husband Danni got to be the witness couple. The whole evening was so spiritual. I don't remember any other time in my life where I have felt the spirit so strong. I have to thank so many people that have influenced me in my life and helped me to get to this point. There were many family members that travelled a good distance to be with me. I look forward to the chance that I get to go with David to the temple. The first picture is most of the family members that attended the session. A few had already left. The second picture is my sister Alisha and her husband Rodolfo. Thanks to them I got to meet David. :) The third picture is my bestest sister Amber that I talk about so much, and her husband Danni. Her and Danni and her two boys have done more for me and Christy than I can ever thank them for. Amber is my best friend in the whole world. A spot someday, hopefully someday soon she will have to give up. Thanks Danni for letting Christy and I interupt your life so much. Amber I love you!!! The fourth picture is my Aunt Connie and Uncle Terry. They are my second parents. My whole life I have been welcome in their home. I have always known that whenever I needed anything that they and their family were there for me. At least once a year they welcome Christy and I into their home for a few days. Connie and Terry and two of their daughters Wendy and Tammy drove from California to be with me on this special day. Their other two daughter Salina and Heather were also at the temple with me. I love them all. The last picture is me with my parents. They have waited a long time for this day. I know that they had doubts about me ever getting to this point. Their example and love has been with me thru every step of my life. My parents have given so much to me and Christy. I know at times I caused them so much grieve. I love my mom and dad so much. I don't know if they know how much I really do love them. Mom thanked me for letting her be my escort in the temple. She said that she was worried that I would have asked Amber. As much as I love Amber this is one experience that I wanted to go thru with my mom. Sorry Amber. I love my whole family so much. Thanks to all those who participated in this special day with me. Each one of you has a very special place in my heart. I know that I don't always know the best way to express my feelings. I love you all, and David I can't wait to share a temple experience with you. I love David so much and I have not been able to tell him that. I guess he will have to wait a few more weeks.

David

Another blog about my David. I miss David terribly. I can't wait till June when I get to see him again. I am so glad that I got to meet David before he left and that we have gotten a chance to get to know each other thru emails. Christy and I are both looking forward to meeting Shadow. This picture is David in Korea. Dang he looks good. My family thinks I am crazy because I have only gone on two dates with David and I know that he is the one that I want to spend the rest of my life with. :)

Bridal Veil Falls

This past weekend Christy and I went up North. Christy got to spend time with her grandma and I got to spend some time alone. Saturday evening we went up to Bridal Veil Falls. It was a little chilly but it was so pretty and there were not a lot of people around.
We found a nice lady to take a picture of us together.
Christy really likes to take pictures, but she moves before the second flash goes off so the pictures end up blurry.
Say Cheese. I sure do love my little Kiki. We had a good weekend. I got my hair done and I found a temple dress that I like. Christy and her grandma took flowers to her dads grave.

Clark County Fair

I know I am a little late posting these pictures and this blog. Sorry. We had so much fun at the fair.

This was the first year that I got to take Christy. It always seemed that the fair would land on her dads weekend. We had a blast. We watched the pigs race and swim, and we both got a little sun.
