Ode to Crystal

Crystal, Amber is right. We know you check our blogs and you never leave any comments. Get off your bum and make a blog of your own. Blogging is so much better than MySpace. WE all know you have time. Just remember that we love you and I have your itinerary for the reunion. Maybe I should leave that on here too. Remember spaghetti, sauce and garlic bread.
I LOVE YOU!!!!!!

Random Post

I was looking in my journal the other night and noticed that I write posts here more than I write in my journal. I really need to work on that, and Christy's journal is almost two months behind. So yesterday I went to the temple with my mother in law, and one of my sisters in law. I really enjoy spending time with David's family and getting to know them better. After the temple we went to Applebees for dinner...yummy! A big thank you to Amber for watching Kiki so that I could go. I can't wait till David and I are in the same place at the same time so we can go to the temple together. At least for the time being we can call and read scriptures and pray together over the phone. Well thats all I can think to write, I know not very exciting and no pictures.

Crazy Weekend

First let me say sorry there will be no pictures. I am so grateful to have a crazy weekend! David went back to San Diego on Tuesday. I debated wether or not I should go see him for the weekend. I had pretty much decided no until around 12:30 on Friday when I received a call from my sister in law. I decided after that call that I needed to go. So I left work at 2:30 and by 3:30 Christy and I were on the road. We got to San Diego around 9:30pm, and thanks to mom we had a place to stay. Saturday we went swimming at the hotel, we went to McDonalds for lunch, we went shopping in National City(scary), we went to Breaker Beach on the base, and we went to dinner. For dinner we went to the "Red Sea Ethiopian" restaurant. Now this was my first experience with Ethiopian food. If any of you ever come to San Diego we should go there for dinner. It was an experience!!! Sunday David had to work early, so he was gone by 6:15am. Christy and I hung out at the hotel till 11, then we drove to Anaheim. We had In N Out burger for lunch and we had a yummy salad for dinner. We spent a few hours with Connie and Terry and then we came home. We got home last night a little after 11pm. I am so glad that I can be one of those people who has a crazy weekend. I love my husband so much!!!! I love being married! Well that's all.

My Wedding

So Amber's right, my blog is all over the place. So here is a post about my wedding. I married David Jake Bushar on Wednesday June 11, 2008. We decided that we just wanted to get our civil marriage over with so we made an appointment with a Justice Court Judge. We let a few of our family members know what was going on. We both decided that when we get sealed we will make a big deal and have a family dinner or something else to celebrate. Please don't anyone be offended. We love you all!

It's Official

So it finally happened, David proposed on Friday June 6th while we were at Disneyland! He got my ring while he was in Hawaii. It is a beautiful ring(I tried to take a picture, but we all know how crappy my camera is) there are three pulmeria flowers with a diamond in the middle of each flower. I LOVE IT!!!!! David actually had Christy ask me to marry him, but it was so cute. And of course I said YES! We both have known for quite a while that we would be getting married, but now it's official. David is the most amazing man I have ever met. I am so lucky. I love him!!!!

The Family

David, Christy and Shadow

Sea World

This was Christy and my first time to Sea World. We went to the seal and sea lion show, the Shamu show, and the dolphin show. We got a lot of sun. David and Shadow sat in the wet zone at the dolphin show and after the first soaking Shadow wanted to move so they came and sat with Christy and I, we did not want to get wet. The girls had a lot of fun playing in the Sesame Street area. We rode the roller coaster ride. Poor David got to be the pack horse. Both girls wanted to ride on Davids shoulders at the same time. By six o'clock we were all ready to go.

USS Nimitz

This is looking out into the ocean from the deck on the ship. It was a yucky day in San Diego.
David's ship.
Oh, how cute! David got Shadow, Christy, his mom and I all roses. Of course he had to carry them all.
Looking out at the sailboats, and San Diego.

Dinner on the Ship

We went on a tour of David's ship the USS Nimitz. Lucky for us they had free KFC dinner. Yum, Yum :) The girls didn't eat a whole lot but they had fun.

The Park

We went to this huge park right on the ocean. This is David, Christy and Shadow cleaning the sand of a giant whale.
More sand, the girls wanted to slide down the whale but they didn't want to get their bums all dirty.
My two girls :)
The girls had so much fun at the park. And it was really nice for David and I to be able to walk around and talk and not worry about being a playmate for one of the girls.

San Diego Temple

We went to the San Diego Temple. It is such a beautiful temple. Someday soon David and I would like to be sealed in the San Diego Temple. The temple was the kick off to our vacation in California.
