The last few weeks have been crazy. And I guess that's the way it is when you are moving. Last Thursday Christy and I came to St. George with David's parents, which was good because I had lots of stuff to do. I signed my lease, secured a job and a few other things. Wednesday morning mom, dad and I got in the car really early and drove to San Diego in moms car with the trailer in tow. Wednesday David's ship pulled in around nine. I got to base early enough to watch the ship pull in and be secured to the docks. David and I spent the rest of the day hanging out with mom and dad. We packed, cleaned, went bowling and went and watched "Imagine that". We also went swimming. It was my last day with David. Thursday morning I drove David to work and we said our goodbyes at that point because I really did not want to go to base this morning and deal with all the crowds. Thursday morning the missionaries came over and helped us load the trailer. I supervised, and I went to Jamba juice and bought everyone a smoothie. It took about two hours to load all the stuff. Then the rest of the day we cleaned and finished packing a few last minute things. I was really stressed about making sure that the house was really clean to pass the inspection. Then I spoke with David in the evening and he said that he really wanted me to come say goodbye this morning. I decided to stop being selfish and decided I would go. Thursday night was spent on the floor. This morning David called and said they were pulling out early so I needed to come to base. So I got dressed and drove to base. All the parking was secured!!!! So I drove around for twenty minutes trying to find a parking lot that I could park in. I was beyond frustrated. David was calling to see where I was and I got upset with him. I was mad and David was mad. Finally I found a parking lot that I could park in and then I walked to the ship. I was annoyed the whole time. Then I got to the gates and called David to see where he was. When I found him I noticed he was in his coveralls and you could only come out the gates if you were in your whites. So David came over by the fence even though he was told he couldn't, then we stood on each side of the fence and yelled at each other. One of the Master Chiefs came over and said something to David about him not allowed to be by the fence. David back talked to him, then he was escorted back to the ship. So that was it, that was my one and only experience with the ship leaving for deployment and I turned it into a yelling match disaster. I drove home and finished packing and cleaning. Now a bright spot in my day, we passed the inspection...so no charges for us :) Then we got in our vehicles and drove home. I drove ahead of mom and dad. Them pulling the trailer slowed them down a lot. So when I got to St. George I called Crystal and asked her to meet me at the apartment. When she got there I took the key and tried to open the door. And would you believe it, it didn't open. I tried both doors several times, Crystal tried both doors several times and then we called Alisha and she came over and tried a few times and finally got one of the doors open. I was mad at that point, it was hot and it had been almost an hour. I called mom and cried because this just added to my very bad day. Then Crystal and I went to Walmart to buy some groceries. The check out girl was not a regular checker so it took her a little longer and she rang up my tomatoes twice. She couldn't fix it so I had to go stand in the customer service line and wait an hour for my two dollars and sixteen cents. So because of my stubborn, selfishness David left for six months with our last words being angry ones and I stood for an hour out in the heat trying to get into the apartment. Sometimes I just need to vent! I know that things aren't that bad. I really am glad about all the things that are good in my life.

Random Happenings
We have been busy lately at our house. Packing, cleaning, visitors and deployment! If you walked into my house right now you would think that a bomb went off. It is such a mess. Well not really, it just that most of my household furnishings our now in my front room piled high and deep. I realized just how much stuff I really do have with all this packing. I am overwhelmed! I feel like I should throw half of it away. I am now starting to worry that I picked the wrong place to live in St. George. I am doubting that all my crap will fit in the townhome. I guess we will see. Christy and I are in St. George now. I will be going back to San Diego on Wednesday with my parents to load all my belongings on the truck. Davids ship pulls in on Wednesday around noon. I will get to see David for Wednesday afternoon and evening then Thursday he has duty and the ship is scheduled to pull out for good on Friday. I am excited that I get to see him one more time before he officially leaves. I fear that this next six months is going to be a challenge for us all. Christy watching the Days of 47 parade with Papa while shelling pecans. Brings back so many memories.

To all those who were in Mission Valley AMC...
theatre number 18 for the 4:30 showing of Harry Potter and the half blood prince. David and I decided we would go see Harry Potter before he left for deployment. We got tickets at our local MWR office. Tickets at the theatre run $11.50, at MWR we can get them for $6.50. We decided on an early showing so there would be less people and we would go out to eat after the movie. There were a total of ten people in the theatre. David and I got there kinda early and choose good seats. A lady I will call Ms. Blue came and sat right in front of David. I thought this was odd since there were very few people in the movie. A little while into the movie Ms. Blue turns around and says "please stop that". David and I look at each other not sure what she is referring to us stopping. Some time later she turns around again and tells David to stop kicking her seat. David looks at me and mouths that he had not kicked her seat. We go back to watching the movie. The people a few rows behind us are getting a kick out of all this and laugh and make some comments about the whole situation. An hour into the movie Ms. Blue stands up turns around and starts screaming at David. Adding in a few colorful words. When she finishes, she sits down. Davids says "you have got to be kidding me", he then moves to the chair on the other side of me. Once again the people behind us our laughing and finding humor in the whole situation, while in the lower section of the theatre a lady whom I will call Ms. Orange stands up and yells at us because she brought her seven year old to the move and he doesn't need to hear this kind of language. I agree, I don't need to hear it either. David and I go back to watching the movie assuming the situation has been resolved with him changing seats. WE WERE WRONG!!! Ms. Orange took it upon herself to alert theatre management about the situation. Troy (the theatre man) comes in an escorts Ms. Blue out of the theatre to speak with her. When she comes back in she sits RIGHT in front of me!!! Are you serious? Then David goes out and talks to Troy. When he leaves Ms. Orange comes right up to me and starts screaming at me to grow up and stop being so childish. I look at her and politely say "I didn't say anything". She continues her rampage and I say "I am watching the movie". She then screams that I will be paying twice to see this movie, then she storms past me and out to where Troy is speaking with David. David then pokes his head in and motions for me to come out. Meanwhile the whole theatre (all ten people) have lost 15 minutes of this movie. The people behind us think the whole situation is funny. They were having a grand time, who knew with their $11.50 ticket purchase would they not only get to see Harry Potter, but also the soap opera of Ms. Blue, Ms. Orange, Troy and the Bushars :) So I gather my belongings and exit the theatre. Troy informs David and I that he cannot have us and Ms. Blue in the same theatre. He apologizes and informs us that he will compensate us for the whole bad situation. He gets us tickets to the 6:30 show, he also gives us a drink voucher and two more tickets to whatever show we want to see in the future. So to all ten people in Mission Valley AMC theatre 18 at the 4:30 showing of Harry Potter I hope you enjoyed the movie and the SIDE show. David and I enjoyed our evening!!!
