I'm getting old. I have to pull out my calendar whenever I blog so I can remember what I have been doing lately. Last week I went to a Tastefully Simple party. It was lots of fun. I spent more money than I probably should have. Oh well. Friday after work I went over and hung out at Alisha's house. We all decided to go to a movie. Alisha and her family, Crystal, Christy and I went and saw "Where the Wild Things Are". It was a good movie. I will defiantly be buying it when it comes out on DVD. We invited mom but she didn't come :( Saturday was a busy day. Mom called at ten and woke me up and said that we were meeting at 11 for the "What Women Want Expo". Mom, Alisha, Micheal, Kayley, Crystal, Christy and I went. We had so much fun. We went thru the whole expo then Christy and I had to leave. We made it to the rental right before Dean, Ann, Deann and Hector got there. They brought me a huge gunny sack of potatoes, a bucket of carrots, a bucket of apples, a couple jars of applesauce, a jar of apple butter and lots of frozen corn. After that Christy and I went to the Vernon Worthen Park and got hot dogs and chips. Papa was there serving hot dogs. Hot dogs on the grill are my favorite, I can never pass them up. Especially when they are free! :) Then Christy and I went back the the expo. I bought Christy the prettiest church dress. I also bought Christy a bracelet and I bought one of those bead watches that everyone has. I got a couple different bands. I also let Christy get bling in her hair. I spent way too much money. Saturday afternoon Christy and I drove to Pine Valley. We went to Gaile's cabin and got apples. Gaile has a large apple tree in the front yard. Her son Logan had gotten most of the bottom ones already and the ones he could reach with the ladder. So Christy and I had to improvise on how to get the apples out of the tree. We started with Christy on my shoulders. She could reach a couple that way. We both were laughing so hard, I almost fell and dropped Christy. Then we tried hitting the apples with a stick we found. Then we started throwing rotten apples up into the tree and knocking down other apples. Christy had so much fun. I let her throw apples for almost an hour. Sunday we went to church with mom and dad. It was the primary program. I always love the primary program. It is so fun to watch the little kids. There was one cute little sunbeam boy sitting on the front row and at one point he had just about all of his pointer finger up his nose. It was so funny. We also had family dinner last night. dad made yummy potatoes, carrots and roast. Dad is so good to make dinner for all of us. I can't wait till Christmas when Amber will be here. It will be so much fun to have us all together. It would be even better if Sarah and her kids were able to come. I haven't seen her or her kids for a few years. Christy and I have been fighting a lot lately. It seems like more often than not I am getting her dressed, and bed time is really bad. I can't wait till things get more stable for all of us and I can get back to a normal routine. I feel so bad for her. Work has been going very well the last week :) Well enjoy the pictures!

Look at the concentration on her face as she aims for apples.
Where did my apple go? I am pretty sure I saw it go up.

Having so much fun at Gaile's cabin getting apples. Thanks Gaile :)
This is Peanut. Rodolfo bought him for Crystal. Peanut lives at our house. He is a stinky animal. But then all animals are. We have fun with Peanut :)

USS Nimitz News:
The Nimitz pulled into Bahrain on October 24th. The Nimitz is the third US Navy ship in history to port in Bahrain. I guess its a pretty strict port. Usually David only has to have one liberty buddy, but in order for them to go out in Bahrain he had to have two liberty buddies. This obviously was Davids first time in Bahrain. David is doing good! He misses home and can't wait to be home with family!

We have been busy :)

A couple weeks ago Christy, Crystal and I went over to Aliese's house and had dinner and watched a movie. We had pizza and watched Flight Plan. It was fun. We played with her bunny too. On the 6th I went to the temple with Ann. On Wednesday the 7th Christy and I packed up after work and drove to Overton. We had really yummy dinner with Salina and her family. We spent the night at Salinas house. Thursday we got up really early and drove to Disneyland. We spent Thursday and Friday in Disneyland. It was crazy busy. We love going in October because it's all decorated for Halloween. At one point we had to wait to ride the Haunted Mansion. I was talking to Wendy about it and she said that people sometimes smuggle peoples ashes into the park and dump them on the Haunted Mansion ride. Wend says that it happens more frequently around Halloween. We rode the Space mountain ride and I covered Christy's eyes for most of it. They have scary skeletons on screens throughout the ride. The parking structures at Disneyland were full by noon. I did some Christmas shopping while there. Christy and I had so much fun. Saturday we spent the day in San Diego. We went on base and did some shopping. We went and watched the movie "Shorts" and we did some shopping in Old Town. Sunday we went to church with the Andersens. After church Christy, Wendy and I went to Josh's ice hockey game. Christy did not want to go, but once there she really got into the game. At one point she asked me if girls could play hockey. Now she wants to learn to ice skate and play hockey. It was our first hockey game. Joshs's team lost but we had fun. Monday Christy, Wendy, Josh, Aunt Connie and I went to breakfast at the original pancake house. We love going there! Then Christy and I headed home. We stopped at Salina's and spent a little time there before finishing our trip. This week has gone by fast.
Christy wearing the shirt David sent her from Singapore.

The matching earring and necklace set that David bought and sent me. The flowers are green and cream colored, there are three diamonds in the middle. I have the worst camera :(
Three necklaces and a bracelet that David bought me. The necklace on the left is light green hearts with a diamond in the middle. Then the black one, then the next one is a light purple teardrop shape. The bracelet has silver designs with diamonds.
Josh at his hockey game. I really need a new camera.
Josh's team wear the yellow jerseys.
This is ASIMO, he is a robot that can run, walk, climb stairs, play soccer and talk. He was created by Honda. You can go see him at the Innovations at Disneyland. It was really cool to watch everything that he can do.
Christy with Sally and Jack at Disneyland. Christy wants to be Sally this year for Halloween.
Christy and I on the Screamin roller coaster in Disney's California Adventure. We rode it five times in a row. It is Christy's favorite ride.

USS NIMITZ NEWS:
David feels like he is the main character in the Groundhog Day movie. The band the Scarlet Ending performed on the ship. It was the Navy's birthday on the 13th. They had a cake and ice cream social for the sailors. They joined the storekeeper division and the postal division and formed the new Logistics Specialist division. So now David is a logistic specialist. David has been busy with RAS's. When they have those he has to get up at 4am and work extra hard all day.

What a week.

Last Saturday I went with mom and Alisha and Crystal to Provo to shop. We dropped Christy off at her grandmas house then we all went shopping. It was a lot of fun. We act goofy when we all get together. Mom took us to lunch at Olive Garden. This week I got a call from Christy's principal saying that Christy had slapped a boy and if it happened again she would get suspended. Come to find out (from Christy) that she doesn't know the boy and she says that she didn't do it. I took Christy to the dentist, she needs sealants on four molars and she has two cavities that she needs filled. I met with my manager at work and she let me know about some things that she had been seeing at work. She defiantly put me in my place. I was so upset and embarrassed with myself because I am better than the way I have been acting at work. Last night Alisha and I went to Zumba. It was so much fun, half the steps and dances I couldn't keep up with but I had fun. David called me last night. It was perfect timing. I really needed someone to talk too, and I am glad that it was David. He is doing good on the ship. He is now studying for his Aviation Warfare pin. It keeps him busy and it will look good when he gets ready to advance. Well here we are off to a good weekend. I am looking forward to movie night tonight and hopefully some time at the cabin tomorrow and Sunday. Amber sorry that I never called you back the other day. I get busy and then it gets late.
