Shadow

Yesterday Shadow turned six years old. Happy birthday to Shadow! I hope she knows how much we love her. Unfortunately I didn't get to talk to her yesterday and I'm not sure that David got to either.

My time.....

So this is what I have been doing with some of my time. I bought this 1000 piece puzzle on Saturday. I started it on Monday and finished it this morning.

It's all about the girl, no really it is!

Yesterday after Christy got out of school we went to the park. It was finally warm enough to go. After the park we decided to go to the store. We went to "it's all about the girl", and lucky us it was their monthly "tea" party. We had never been before but we get coupons in the mail all the time for this place. You go into the store and they have makeup and stickers and jewelry and dress up clothes and hair things that you can buy. In the back they have stations set up like in a real salon. The girls get to spin the wheel and they get a prize, then they decide how they want their hair styled. Christy chose princess style(no surprise there). One of the employees styled her hair, painted her nails, put glitter on and a small tattoo. Then they take a picture of your child. After the makeover the girls get to go into the karaoke room. They can chose two songs and they get pink lemonade and cookies. Before you leave they give your child her picture in a frame and a gift bag. Christy had so much fun. She even sang two songs.

Christy all dolled up, you can't really see how cute her hair was or how much glitter she had on.

My brave little girl, I would never do this.

Family Pictures

I did it

Yesterday at the end of clinic I quit my job. Yep that's right I quit with no notice. There have been some things going on lately that are getting worse instead of better. And I finally made the decision that had been a long time coming. Thanks Amber for all the moral support. David is not here and I needed someone to talk too. Now I will be able to focus all my attention where it needs to be, at home on my family. My family is so much more important than a job and the extra spending money it was providing. I felt bad for quitting with no notice but I had to do what had to be done. And wouldn't you guess that last night I slept better than I have for the last four months even with David being gone. I am excited for less stress and more time to do the right things.

Butey Shop.......according to Christy

So last Sunday when Shadow and Grandma Bushar were here Christy and Shadow decided to play beauty shop. They got all the hair things from the bathroom and brought them to the kitchen. My friend Jennifer was over as well. We all got hair makeovers. Christy even made a sign for our beauty shop. We had a really good time.

Jennifer with her hair done, you can't really see the bows that Christy and Shadow tied in her hair. It was really funny cause Jennifer has extensions and we had to keep reminding the girls not to pull her hair to much or it would fall out.
Shadow did my hair...just lovely.

Oh what a pose, She had so much fun.

And last but not least Christy's sign. Phonetically it makes sense.

Happy Valentine Day

This was David and I's first Valentines Day. He was so worried about what to get for me. He didn't want to get anything wrong. He got me amazing peach roses, a Mylar balloon that he recorded his own Valentines day message on, and two boxes of chocolates. David is such an amazing husband. He loves me more than I ever thought was possible! And poor David puts up with so much. It has been a little over a year since I met David, and the day that I met him was one of the most wonderful days of m life. I have been so very blessed! David you are the absolute best and I love you more than words can express. Happy Valentines Day Love!!!!!

Christy took these pictures after we got home from the ball. David pulled the rose from the centerpiece. We had such a good time. This was the first time David has really seen me all dressed up.

Going On's

Last Saturday night David and I went to the Nimitz Holiday ball. It was held at the Downtown Marina Marriott. When we got there we checked Christy in at the daycare that was provided. Then we went and checked in for the ball. We got there at a little after six. There were appetizers and cocktails until seven. At seven they opened the doors to the ballroom that had been set up for dinner. For dinner we had salad, rolls, petite fillet Mignon, chicken, augratin potatoes and asparagus. For dessert we each got a different plate with three different things on it. I should have taken a picture of all our food. I only had a small taste of the fillet mignon(I can't eat bloody meat). After dinner they had a drawing. The Wayne Foster band was preforming. After dinner we danced. Then we went home. We both had such a good time, and the whole thing only cost us $28. :) I will post pictures later. This weekend we are going to get family pictures done. David's mom will be here Friday and she will go home Monday. Christy is in desperate need of a shopping spree, none of her clothes fit. David leaves on Wednesday for a month. What am I going to do? I will miss him so much. that's all for now. Hopefully at some point this weekend I will post some pictures.

It's been a while...

I haven't taken the time lately to blog. So this is a mix match of the last couple of weeks. When mom and dad were here we went to Cabrillo National Park. We had so much fun with mom and dad. David was gone for a week came home and then was gone for three or four more days. He's home right now till the 18th when he will be gone for about a month. We have been keeping busy with family activities, work and life in general. Here are a few pictures. I will try to blog more often. We also celebrated David's 31st birthday and we went to the Mormon Batillion Commeration.
