My poor car.

So here are some pictures of my car. Today we went and picked up a rental car and then we drove my car to Mesquite. David's uncle is going to fix it for us. He said that it might be ready by as early as Friday. That would be nice, then we would not have to make another trip here to pick up the car (not that that is a bad thing).

Stuck in Utah

So Friday morning we got up really early and drove to St. George. The plan was to spend Friday, Saturday and till after Church on Sunday in Enterprise. Friday went well. Saturday was a rocky day. David and I had a misunderstanding. After that was cleared up we visited with his mom and one of his sisters for a while. The around eleven thirty we left to take Christy to Beaver to met up with Grandma Cosgrove. Christy is spending a whole week with her. We decided to stop in Cedar and go to a movie and go out to eat. We went to Chili's for dinner. Then we went and watched "seven pounds". I don't recommend this movie. The previews looked so good and we were so excited to go see it. The movie was two hours long and it dragged!!! Of course by the time the movie was over it was dark outside. We started the drive from Cedar City to Enterprise. About a half hour into our trip home we had a little miss hap. A very large buck came out of nowhere. David had no time to stop so we hit it. It flew off to the side of the road. David said it was a four point. I was having a little anxiety over all this. It was kind of traumatic for me. No we didn't go check on the deer. It landed far enough off the side of the road that no one else would hit it. And no I didn't even think about calling anyone and asking if we could have the deer, I had enough deer hair and guts on my car already. The pictures of my car will come later. Needless to say I packed enough clothes for David, Shadow and I for three days. So I will be doing a lot of laundry while on vacation. I had to text my boss and tell her that I wouldn't be at work Monday or Tuesday. So Monday we are picking up a rental car and then taking my car to the shop. We will be staying here in Utah until next Sunday. It actually worked out nice because it gives up so much more time with our families and now we don't have to drive home today and back to Utah on Wednesday morning. I guess it was a blessing in disguise. I am so jealous of Amber right now. My parents left on Friday and drove to Oklahoma to visit her and her family. Enjoy her while she's there. Mom and dad will be at my house in a few weeks. Yeah for visitors, I like having people come visit.

Shadow

We picked up Shadow the day after Christmas and she gets to stay with us until the fourth. This is her at Grandma Bushars ready to play in the snow. She sure had a lot of fun. Hector pulled her around in a tube.
Behind her you can see my poor mangled car.....don't worry that story comes at a later post.

Christmas

Christ in front of all her presents. She was so excited for all the art stuff she got. Lately she has been really into drawing. She really wants to take an art class.
David with the shirt that Christy bought him for Christmas.

Christy opening a present.

Our tree.
We had such a good Christmas. We are very blessed. As I look back on the past year I see all the blessing that Heavenly Father has given us. I know that he is watchful and mindful of our needs and desires. Thanks to all our amazing family(on both sides) for all you have done for us.

Visit with Santa Claus

I know it's a little late, but here are the pictures from Christy's visit with Santa. We went and saw Santa at the Nex. We didn't even have to wait in line for Christy to see Santa.

When Dads away the girls will play.

Christy and Tinker bell in Pixie Hollow. Tinkerbell must have been freezing. Pixie Hollow was closed most of the day. And right after we went thru they closed it for the night.

Christy in the "C" over in front of California Adventure land. We love that they decorate for the holidays.

Blurry picture of the castle all lit up for Christmas. They did a really cool program with Christmas music and lighting the tree and the castle. Oh yeah and they have Santa in the parade.

Christy in Pooh Corner. No line this time to see Pooh and Eeyore. And in Pooh Corner we bought lots of the yummy seasonal cookies.

Last Sunday David left for his first workup. He left Sunday morning and was scheduled to be out until Friday. I decided that I would take Monday off work and Christy and I would go to Disneyland. It was fun just the two of us. She really needed some one on one time. It rained for the first hour and a half that we were there. But that's okay when it's clod and raining the park is empty so no lines. We had such a good time. We just went on the rides that Christy wanted to go on. Her favorite is the California Screamin. A big thanks to Aunt Connie and Uncle Terry for braving the rain on their day off and getting us into the park.

Life as of late.

Life has been so great lately. Work is going so much better. We moved offices and now I have my own desk, my own computer and my own phone. And even though our new office is the same distance it takes less time to get there. Traffic on the 8 is so much better than on the five. David has started doing workups. So from now until they leave in July he will be gone at leat one week every month. This will help prepare me for when he leaves for six months. I love this time of year!

Sucker for Socks

So I have an obsession for socks. Lately it has been hidden, there are just too many other things that I need to buy. But when we were at Target I saw these socks and I had to have them. So cute!
