I have extremely neglected my blog. As you can tell it has been almost two months since the last post. I will do a quick run down of what has been going on in our lives.
For Halloween Christy dressed up as Sally from "Nightmare before Christmas" we dyed her hair with cherry Kool-aid and she still has a little red tinge in the bottom of her hair. Treyven wore an orange onesie that said "take me to my mummy". We went trick or treating around the housing then when we got home we handed out the candy that Christy had just received. Most of it she couldn't eat because of her braces and then we just don't eat a whole lot of candy in our house.
On Saturday November 5th we went to Knott's Berry Farm. Every November they have a special for military. The service member and one guest get in free and then you can buy up to six more passes for $17. DeAnn, Claudia, Hector and Christy's friend Morgan came with us.
Before church on November 6th I took this picture of the kids all dressed up. I seem to take an abundance of pictures of Treyven and very little pictures of the girls. Don't our kids look great? :)
During the first half of November David kept busy with appointments and meetings related to separation from the Navy and I was busy with dental appointments. On Monday November 14th one guy from the packing company came and packed our whole house. One guy packed our whole house and it didn't take him that long either. He commented on how much canned food that we had. When he was finished I was amazed at the amount of boxes, I was a little overwhelmed with all our stuff. Having the Navy move us was both a burden and a relief. You are not allowed to pack anything yourself and anything that you already have in boxes they have to open and do inventory. It was kind of embarrassing to know that that guy packed my "intimates". The relief was knowing that I didn't have to do any of it, no packing, lifting, loading or unloading.
On November 15th three guys from the moving company came and loaded all our stuff in the truck. It took three guys longer to load the truck than it took one guy to pack our whole house. After they movers left I walked around our empty house and started realizing that this move was really happening. :( Elder and Sister Pett (the Military Relations couple for our area) took us out to dinner. We had dinner at "Old Town Mexican Cafe", it was great to spend the evening with them. The Petts are a great blessing to all whom they serve. We spent that night at the WorldMark there in San Diego. Wednesday the 16th was David's last day at work and Christy's last day at Jones Elementary. We spent the night at the WorldMark in Oceanside.
Thursday Wendy got us into Disneyland. It was Treyven's first time at Disneyland. Wendy sat with Treyven while we went on Star Tours and Matterhorn. Treyven loved Winnie the Pooh, so many colors! When we went on Haunted Mansion Treyven was asleep until the end of the elevator and then when everyone screams he woke up and started to cry. We had a great time at Disneyland. We really appreciate Wendy getting us into the park one last time before we moved.
Friday the 18th David and Christy went to Universal studios and Treyven and I headed to St. George. We had a slight mishap in the morning that cost $190, but after we got that worked out we were on our way.
We spent a few nights at mom and dads house before we could move into our new place. The day before Thanksgiving the movers came and un-loaded all our stuff. I was once again amazed at all of our stuff. Our temporary home is a smaller three bedroom, two bathroom duplex. It is nice to have everything on the same floor but I feel somewhat cramped here. After we moved in it was discovered that there are termites in the house and the dishwasher had to be replaced. Our new ward is very small and the majority of the ward are elderly couples. But everyone seems very friendly.
We spent Thanksgiving at mom and dads house. After we ate a very yummy feast we spent time visiting and playing games. We spent some time outside and all the grandkids that were there helped decorate the shower curtain for our main bathroom. The kids made hand and foot print animals. They had a great time doing this.
We spent the first weekend of December at the cabin in Pine Valley with the Bushars for the Christmas party. Sunday we went to Sacrament meeting in Pine Valley and then had lunch. After lunch the younger grandkids hid and found presents from their cousins. Christy and Shadow both got a necklace with matching earrings and Treyven got a ring stacker toy. We spent a few minutes playing in the snow before we left.
Last weekend we went to our ward Christmas party. Both Christy and Treyven got to sit on Santa's lap. We had a good time getting to know other ward members and eating delicious food.
We are glad to be in St. George so that we can be closer to family. We are all slowly adjusting to life here and all the new changes. David is enjoying his job and is looking forward to starting school in January. It has been an adjustment for David to be the caregiver a couple days a week while I am at work. I was very blessed with a part time job back at the same clinic I had previously been working at. Christy is settling into her new school and making new friends. She is doing well in school. I have had a hard time being away from Treyven while working. Treyven is getting so big. He has been eating cereal for a while now. He still has no set schedule. I feed him when he's hungry and he sleeps on his own time. If we set him just right he will sit on his own for about 10 seconds. He is a very happy baby. We are setting things in motion to change David's visitation schedule so that we can have Shadow with us more often now that we live closer. We have been very blessed as we have gone through the past few months and all the changes that we have made. I will try to blog more often, now that we are finally settled.

Our Busy Days
We have been busy just like always and I have not taken the time to blog the past few weeks. On Saturday October 15th we went to the San Diego Zoo Wild Animal Park. David was free, Treyven was free, Christy was $7 and my ticket was $36. So for $43 all four of us got into the Zoo, not to shabby. We had a great day. The weather was perfect. I had a headache when we started the day and forgot to bring Tylenol so it got worse thru out the day adding some excitement as we went along. I swear that my brain falls out when I get a bad headache. I did some pretty stupid things, good thing David was there to remedy the situation. We went on the Africa tram once in the morning and once in the evening. In the morning the driver took more time to point out things as we went along and stopped more often so we could take pictures, the evening tram the driver was speedy but we got to see more of the animals out and active. On Friday October 21 I was playing with Treyven in the morning and making noises with my mouth and he started laughing. It was the cutest sound in the whole world! On Saturday October 22 we went to the Nazarene University fall festival. We had a great time. Then we went to the Lincoln housing fall festival. David and I felt like we grazed the whole day as there was free food at both events. On Sunday the 23rd during Sacrament meeting we had the Primary program. Christy did great on her part. I have always loved the Primary programs, it's so cute to see all the kids get up and say their part and there always seems to be a stronger sweeter Spirit in those meetings! What a blessing children are in our lives. We have 18 days till we move out of housing. I feel lazy with this move. I guess knowing that the Navy is moving us back to St. George I haven't been as anxious or as on top of things as I usually am. The time is coming quickly for this move. We still do not have a place to live in St. George. I just need to be patient. I know that when we find the right place things will fall into place as they have with everything else. Enjoy the pictures.
Christy at the housing fall festival. She got an airbrush tattoo and she got blue and green flowers painted in her hair.
Christy and Treyven at the Nazarene fall festival. We took some pictures in the pumpkin patch and then chose a pumpkin to bring home. Sadly it has been sitting in the garage forgotten. We really don't get into the Halloween Spirit much. It is one holiday that I could go without.
A nine month old baby elephant at the wild animal park.
Posing by the lions and tigers.

St. George and Family
We have been busy as usual. On the 4th Treyven had his two month check up. He weighed 12 pounds 10 ounces and is 23 1/4 inches long. He showed off and rolled over quickly for the doctor. Last Friday after Christy got out of school and David got home from work we went to St. George. We stopped in Henderson and picked up Shadow. It was pretty late when we finally got to St. George. Saturday David spent time getting all the last minute finishing touches on his portfolio and resume taken care of. We spent some time outside playing with Michael, Kayley, Scottie, Zuriah and JayAnna. It was a little cool and there was a slight breeze but all the kids had a great time. Crystal helped a few of the kids ride her big girl bike. Christy was a little intimidated at first but then took off. She might be ready for a big girl bike sooner than we imagined. Saturday evening we went to Aunt Alisha's house for a BBQ. David grilled hot dogs and chicken. Kayley was his big "helper". I think we might look into getting a grill at some point. David enjoyed grilling. Thanks Alisha for letting us all come over and bug you even though you had a seizure earlier in the day and wasn't truly up for company. Sunday morning we attended Miguel's farewell. He is going to the South Carolina Spanish speaking mission. He gave an amazing talk in Sacrament meeting. The spirit was defiantly there with him. He will be a great missionary, and such a good example for all his younger cousins. After Sacrament meeting we met at Hector's house for lunch. Most of the people there were from the Bushar family. I guess Miguel had a farewell in Enterprise as well but more people attended the one in St. George. We had a good time visiting with family. Treyven was passed around and loved on. Monday David went and met with Lyle Hindes at Star Flag and Banner. Lyle looked over his portfolio and hired David. :) He told David that he wasn't sure what his salary would be, it depends on David's quality of work and what level he is on. I am so happy. I admit that I had little faith of David actually getting a job in the Design field. I was a Negative Nelly and wasn't trusting in the Lord answering our prayers. We are defiantly blessed. The Lord has been looking out for us. I should have more faith, with all the trials I have been thru and have always come out on top I should have learned. When we do the things we are supposed to the Lord blesses us with the things that he knows we need. Now we just need to find a place to live. Monday evening we went over to Scott and Selma's for dinner. For dessert Selma made donuts. She took biscuits from the can and cut out the middle, deep fried them and then put them in a bag with cinnamon and sugar and shook them to coat. They were delicious, I need to remember this as such a quick and easy dessert. Tuesday we went to Applebees for lunch with Dean, Ann, Deann, Claudia, Miguel and Tito. It was a going away for lunch for Miguel. After lunch we headed home. We stopped in Henderson and dropped Shadow off. We got home at a decent time Tuesday evening. On Wednesday the 12th Treyven rolled from his back to his tummy. I was in the bathroom and didn't get to see him do this :( Next time.
Great Grandma Beasley gave Treyven this little sweater. It has a matching blanket. Doesn't he look so cute?
JayAnna hanging out with Treyven.
Shadow riding Crystals bike.
Christy riding Crystal's bike.
David wearing Shadow's sweatshirt. He was chilly and I forgot to pack him a jacket.
Kayley helping David BBQ
Ellie, Shadow and Christy dressed up in dance outfits.
Christy, Great Grandma Humes holding Treyven and Shadow. We stopped in and visited with Grandma Humes on Tuesday before we left town. It was great to see her. It will be nice to live closer so we can go visit more often.
Grandma Bushar holding Treyven and David at Applebees. Dean took us to lunch :)
Treyven
Words cannot describe how much love I have for the little man. He truly is our gift from Heaven.

Another Update
Our days have been full of appointments. Dentist appointments, doctor appointments, vision appointments, PSD appointments, housing appointments, they never seem to end. We have been trying to get all our appointments taken care of before we move to Utah. We are making sure that we have new glasses, any and all medical needs are taken care of and David has been busy with all things regarding separation from the Navy. Time seems to be flying by. We only have 44 more days till we are done. There is so much left to do, it gives me anxiety if I spend to much time thinking about it. I have my list, and I try to only concentrate on one or two things at a time. David has his last class this Wednesday, then he is done with school until next year. There are still so many activities and places close by that I want our family to experience before we move.
Treyven is now two months old, Christy is doing well in school, I enjoy spending the days at home with Treyven, and David keeps busy at work. Despite David's last day working on 11-16 he found out that he might be required to go to FEX(field exercises) for a week sometime this month. It seems pointless to me as there is no reason for him to attend as he is getting out of the Navy. That would be a whole week with David at Camp Pendleton with no outside contact, that's one less week he has to accomplish the items on his to do list. We are trying to set it up so that the military will pack our house and move us to Utah. That would sure take a load of my shoulders. We just keep plugging along. I really need to take more pictures of the activities we do as a family, it seems that recently all the pictures on the camera are of Treyven.
Out happy, drooly baby!
Look at that smile!
I bought this dress shirt for David at Kohls, it was only $2.16 after tax :)
Check out that drool!

Our days fly by
The days seem to be flying by. We keep busy with the baby, school, work, family time and household chores. David has been busy getting all his appointments and tests taken care of to get out of the Navy. We are starting to count down the days. David has also been busy with school, working hard on finishing this last class. Last week mom, Christy and Treyven went to St. George for a few days. It took nine hours to get there. The little guy did so well on the long trip and Christy was an amazing help. On the 13th Treyven rolled over from his tummy to his back. He has done it a couple more times since. He is now 7 weeks old and weighs 11 pounds 4 ounces. We still don't get much sleep around here. Christy has started noticing her teeth moving with her braces. Overall she does well with them on, not to much complaining. Christy likes school so far. Mom worries that the house is never clean, and seems to be falling behind on her household duties. We are all healthy and happy!
Dad and the little guy after church. Thanks Aunt Amber for all the wonderful church clothes. The little guy gets so many compliments each week.
Michael and Kayley with the little guy. Kayley wasn't really into Treyven, she was happier just ignoring him.
Aunt Crystal holding the little guy. I don't think Crystal got much sleep when we were there. She isn't used to be woken up to a crying baby.
We just love the little guy so much.
Look at those chubber cheeks and double chin :) Don't you just want to squeeze on him!

We have been busy
Here is a run down of what we have been up to. I really need to set up a time when I blog. If not daily every couple of days. I have been lacking in my journal writing too.
I have noticed the little guy favors his right thumb. I love how his has both hands on his face.
The family after we blessed Treyven. We had a lot of family that traveled to be with us on this special day.
David and I with Treyven.
A lady in our ward made the hat and booties for Treyven. I feel bad because I don't know her name.
David was being funny. He was using his camel pac as a baby carrier. Treyven was not happy with this arrangement.
Christy on her first day of fifth grade.
Our AC froze and I guess the pipe runs thru the ceiling in Christy's bathroom. It started leaking and made a hole in the ceiling.
Treyven in his blessing outfit. Thanks Deann for making it!
Treyven and his lion.
The little guy has started smiling.
Here's a run down for each person.
David: was told by Coleman College that he was lacking one class, worried he would have to take another class and finish it via the web, told later that he really would be done with classes after the one he is in now. Coleman graduation is October 8th, we most likely will not go as Miguel has his mission farewell the 9th. Duty sections are back to every ten day :) Going to many appointments regarding separating from the Navy.
Rebecca: not getting enough sleep, doesn't feel like the house is ever clean, smells like baby throw up daily, got new glasses (which she hates), worries about each family member, will be working two days a week at the doctors office when we move back to St. George, trying to find suitable housing for when we move, working hard at her Achievement Day calling, had a great time with family over Labor Day weekend.
Christy: started 5th grade, Mr. Pierce is her teacher, tries to do her best to be a big helper with Treyven, complains that she has to do chores, but loves getting paid her allowance, got two free slurpee coupons for telling the truth to a cop and not being involved in the situation.
Shadow: started third grade, Ms. Bigda (not sure on spelling) is her teacher, loves being around her brother.
Treyven: at last weigh in a week ago was 10 lbs 5 oz, slept one night for four hours straight, to bad that doesn't happen every night, has started smiling for real, can almost roll over from his front to his back, went swimming for the first time, but only stuck his feet in and wasn't pleased with that, was blessed on September 4th by David, generally making life interesting.
Yesterday our power went out at 3:40pm and didn't come back on till 10:45pm. It was a good show for me of what I still need to put in our 72 hour kits.
