Weekend in Dixie

This weekend has been great. Friday we came down to St. George. We got to spend time with Grandma and Grandpa Beasley. We are staying at their house until we go home Sunday after church. I feel so blessed to have so many family members on both sides here in southern Utah. Friday we went to lunch at Honolulu Grill with Margie, David and Addi Slack. It was so good to see the Slack family. I miss Margie, she could always make me laugh! We did a little Christmas shopping Friday afternoon, which is complicated with the girls being right there. Today we spent the day with more family members. We went to visit Grandma Humes with Crystal and Jared. She has a cute little house here in town. It was good to visit with her! Then we spent some time with Alisha, Michael and Kayley. I miss Amber I wish that she and her family could have been here for the holiday. Someday soon I will fly out to see her. Amber we missed you and your family!!

The girls had so much fun playing in all the leaves at grandmas house. We don't have fallen leaves in San Diego. I love all the colors of fall.

Family Pictures

Christy loves to wear dresses. It was freezing outside but she looks so cute. Shadow looks adorable. I love her long hair, and she lets me do it without any fuss. I got a killer deal on Davids shirt. And of course I had to buy myself a new top.

Thanksgiving

We were so lucky to be able to pick up Shadow and spend Thanksgiving in PineValley as a family with all of Davids family. We all stayed at the cabin. We had such a good time. We saw lots of snowflakes but none stuck. I am so grateful for all the wonderful family that I have both on my side and on Davids side.

Loving California

Sorry, no pictures! I am so happy today it is 82 degrees outside. I am totally going to go lay by the pool. I love this. Maybe this weekend while we are out and about I will get some good pictures.

On the internet with nothing to blog about...

So here I am, I finally get a few minutes to use the Internet and I can't think of anything to say....... Ok so Shadow was here over the weekend and the holiday. It was fun to have her with us for more than just the weekend. We all seem to be adjusting to things a lot better. Saturday I took her and Christy shopping and then we went and saw Igor. We had fun, just us girls. So I received a calling. Primary teacher, the only thing is they called me to be in the CTR5 class and that class already has two teachers....umm what am I doing in there? Anyways I am sure it will all work out. I will miss Relief Society. Work has been so busy lately. I am not complaining, I like to be busy. I miss everyone in St. George and can't wait to come spend Thanksgiving weekend there. I have started a Christmas list of things to buy for people on my list. Ummm, well, yea. Not sure what to write. We are planning on going to Knotts Berry Farm sometime this month and Disneyland sometime in December. Well that's all.

Halloween

This is the only picture from last night that turned out. Christy and I went trick or treating around our neighborhood. We only went for about forty five minutes, but Christy got a full bag or candy. We had fun!

My husband

I have the most amazing husband. Last night David had duty. Then this morning he came home and made breakfast for Christy and I and then he took my car to get an oil change. When he came home I was cleaning our bathroom and he came and asked what he could do to help. So he went and helped Christy clean her bathroom. He is so amazing. I love him so much.
