To all those who were in Mission Valley AMC...

theatre number 18 for the 4:30 showing of Harry Potter and the half blood prince. David and I decided we would go see Harry Potter before he left for deployment. We got tickets at our local MWR office. Tickets at the theatre run $11.50, at MWR we can get them for $6.50. We decided on an early showing so there would be less people and we would go out to eat after the movie. There were a total of ten people in the theatre. David and I got there kinda early and choose good seats. A lady I will call Ms. Blue came and sat right in front of David. I thought this was odd since there were very few people in the movie. A little while into the movie Ms. Blue turns around and says "please stop that". David and I look at each other not sure what she is referring to us stopping. Some time later she turns around again and tells David to stop kicking her seat. David looks at me and mouths that he had not kicked her seat. We go back to watching the movie. The people a few rows behind us are getting a kick out of all this and laugh and make some comments about the whole situation. An hour into the movie Ms. Blue stands up turns around and starts screaming at David. Adding in a few colorful words. When she finishes, she sits down. Davids says "you have got to be kidding me", he then moves to the chair on the other side of me. Once again the people behind us our laughing and finding humor in the whole situation, while in the lower section of the theatre a lady whom I will call Ms. Orange stands up and yells at us because she brought her seven year old to the move and he doesn't need to hear this kind of language. I agree, I don't need to hear it either. David and I go back to watching the movie assuming the situation has been resolved with him changing seats. WE WERE WRONG!!! Ms. Orange took it upon herself to alert theatre management about the situation. Troy (the theatre man) comes in an escorts Ms. Blue out of the theatre to speak with her. When she comes back in she sits RIGHT in front of me!!! Are you serious? Then David goes out and talks to Troy. When he leaves Ms. Orange comes right up to me and starts screaming at me to grow up and stop being so childish. I look at her and politely say "I didn't say anything". She continues her rampage and I say "I am watching the movie". She then screams that I will be paying twice to see this movie, then she storms past me and out to where Troy is speaking with David. David then pokes his head in and motions for me to come out. Meanwhile the whole theatre (all ten people) have lost 15 minutes of this movie. The people behind us think the whole situation is funny. They were having a grand time, who knew with their $11.50 ticket purchase would they not only get to see Harry Potter, but also the soap opera of Ms. Blue, Ms. Orange, Troy and the Bushars :) So I gather my belongings and exit the theatre. Troy informs David and I that he cannot have us and Ms. Blue in the same theatre. He apologizes and informs us that he will compensate us for the whole bad situation. He gets us tickets to the 6:30 show, he also gives us a drink voucher and two more tickets to whatever show we want to see in the future. So to all ten people in Mission Valley AMC theatre 18 at the 4:30 showing of Harry Potter I hope you enjoyed the movie and the SIDE show. David and I enjoyed our evening!!!
