David and I went to Mesquite on our monthly date. We ate at the buffet and then went to the arcade and played. We brought home a bunch of junk for Treyven. It was one of the best dates that David and I have had in quite a while.
Dad and Treyven reading.
Our roses in the front yard.
Mom and her boys.
David is still in school at Steven's Henegar and makes the Deans list almost every quarter. He is still working at Steamroller although without any word to him they have cut him from five five hour shifts a week to one four hour shift per week. That isn't even enough for him to pay his child support. David is trying to find a different job. Mom is still working full time at the doctor's office and loving it (most days). She is hoping that soon they will make it official that she is the assistant manger and she will get a raise. That would really help our finances about now. Mom likes to spend time out in the yard pulling weeds and checking on all our plants and flowers and trees. We have six rose bushes in the front yard and we have planted spinach, peas, tomatoes, onions, carrots and watermelon, two grape bushes, one raspberry and one blackberry bush. We also have two apricot trees and two peach tress. There are still two fruits trees that we don't know what kind they are yet. We finished painting the big bedroom in the back and moved the boys into that room. Treyven sleeps on the bottom bunk and David is finally in the crib sleeping thru the night. David can roll over and sit by himself. Treyven gets into everything and is ornery often. We had family pictures a few weeks ago but haven't gotten them back yet. Hopefully soon. School is almost out for Christy and then she has lots of plans for the summer. Girls camp, a trip to North Dakota, a family reunion and hopefully a trip to Amber's house. We are trying to redo the back front bedroom for Christy. We realized that underneath two layers of paint there are two layers of wallpaper that must all be removed before we can re-paint and decorate. It's a slow going process. Well I think thats all for now.

Rose bushes!!! Jealous. Most roses don't grow to well here it seems. Knock outs do and we have one of those bushes. It's tiny and new. Knock outs are the kind Scott and Jen have in front of the front room window. Anyway....we are so excited for Christy to come!
