Cotton Candy

Yesterday as we were driving to Vegas we passed a couple of diesels that had sheep in their trucks. Christy asked what they were and I told her sheep. Then she asked where they were taking them. I told her the trucks were taking the sheep to farms, most likely to slaughter them. She asked if they were going to cut their hair off. I said they will probably sheer them to make cotton(um hello Rebecca, really cotton?). David starts laughing and says you mean wool? At the same time Christy in the back seat asks if that's how they make cotton candy. Oh yes, Christy that is exactly how cotton candy is made from sheep's hair! That's the story now, so next time she asks for cotton candy I will remind her that its made from sheep's hair. Oh boy I can't believe how dumb I am and how that all worked out.

That is pretty funny. They don't slaughter sheep. Cotton Candy would be so gross if it was sheep hair.

I do stuff like that all the time. I try to remember to keep my mouth shut, because my boys are going to be so confused when they are older and learn the way things really are. Funny funny. MMMmmm I want some sheep hair candy!

I love accidental outbursts like that! I do it all the time with Haylee! When I'm buying cotton candy for Haylee at the Clark County Fair next weekend, I won't be able to help but think of sheep hair! lol

(I haven't been to my dads in over a week, but I'll remember to ask him about rentals when I go there next! I haven't forgotten!:)
