More Updating... Lots of pictures.

The pictures are not in a particular order and my writing ended up at the bottom.

David, Christy and I on the flight deck aboard the USS Nimitz.
Crystal, Grandma, Christy, Poppa and I on the flight deck. Christy was cold and her shirt was very dirty, hence hugging grandma so tight.

Grandma and Poppa on the flight deck.

Bowling. This was grandmas very first time bowling and she did very well. I think she even had some fun.

The emerald earrings that Amber had my cousin Darrin make as my birthday present. I love them. Amber is so very thoughtful in her gifts.

Christy got a mickey bracelet and a Tinkerbell fairy set for her birthday.
Christy eating her dessert at dinner. We went to the Blue Bayou restaurant.David and I at dinner. Dang look at that messy hair.
Crystal at dinner.
Grandma and Poppa at dinner.
Crazy Christy at dinner. Her spoon turned into an eye patch.
Christy, Poppa and grandma on the Small World ride at Disneyland.
I can't think of a better place to spend a birthday. Happy birthday Christy! I love you BUG!

These two pictures are of a coin that David received as a special recognition on the ship. David was moved to a new office inside his department. For a while he was doing both his old and his new job. Luckily now he only has to worry about his new job. In his new office he has his own computer and desk. I am glad that he moved. Now he will be able to communicate more with me while he is gone and it seems that he will be a little less stressed in his new job.

Last Thursday for our anniversary we went to see Terminator 3. I enjoyed the movie. I have not seen the other Terminator movies. Then David and I went to dinner at Texas Roadhouse. Neither of us had been there before and we thoroughly enjoyed and stuffed ourselves. This might be my new favorite restaurant. On a side note St. George is getting a Brick Oven, one of my all time favorite restaurants. I ate at the one in Provo all the time. Crystal was nice enough to watch our girls for the evening. After dinner David and I headed to Pine Valley to spend the night at the cabin. It was nice to spend some quality time. Friday morning we got up late and drove to St. George. We went to the noon session with David's parents. They work in the cafeteria on Friday mornings. After the temple we went to Olive Garden with David's parents and his sister Deann. Then we went and picked up the girls. Friday evening we went and saw UP. It is a great family movie. Saturday we had family dinner at Alisha's. Thomas, Celia, Megan and TJ (family from Vernal) where there as well. Rodolfo bbq'd hamburgers and hot dogs. Yummy! Sunday we went to church with mom and dad. After church we had family dinner at moms house. We had Hawaiian haystacks. After lunch we dropped Shadow off in Vegas and we came home. Monday and Tuesday we hung out at home. Wednesday we went to Disneyland. We spent Wednesday evening at the Andersen's. Thursday we went to Disneyland for Christy's birthday. Grandma, Poppa and Crystal were there as well. Today we are hanging out around San Diego. We went bowling and toured Davids ship. It seems every time I go on there with David I learn something new. Grandma, Poppa and Crystal will be here till after church on Sunday. Then life will get back to normal (whatever normal is) at least for a little while. We are enjoying all the time that we spend together with all our family. We are spending as much time as we can together now before David leaves. Christy is the big eight years old. We are planning on baptizing her sometime in December. Oh, I got my birthday present from Amber! Beautiful emerald earrings. Thanks to Darrin for helping Amber out with my gift. I love them!

Glad you are having a great time with family. Thank you for the time we had at Red Robin. Maybe when Brick Oven comes in maybe we can do it again. Be safe in your travels up here this weekend.

Davis be safe in your duty tour this weekend and when you have to ship out.

Okay, so Blogger's being ridiculous and I've tried THREE TIMES to comment....GUR...Anyway--I'm so glad you like your earrings! Not that I made them, but I was pretty proud of my husband who did. ;) I was wondering when you were going to get them. I'm pretty stoked to see this cabin I've been reading so much about! Darrin and I are driving up LATE on Friday (we can't leave 'til after 10 PM), but we'll be there! I'm super jealous of all these Disneyland trips you get to take; I love that place.

Too much fun! Wish I were there! I'm glad you liked your earings, sorry they were SOOOO late. I'm a bum. Well not a bum, but more like a hermit. I never go out! I wish I could tour the ship sometime. I'm trying to talk Danni into going to Disneyland over christmas break, I know it will be busy but the kids need to go sometime!
