I've been busy

I always am busy, but I like it that way. Then I don't get bored and I don't think about my headaches. Yesterday Christy and I had dentist appointments. Christy had no cavities, but she need to see an orthodontist. I have a cavity. I already knew I had one though. As my teeth have been moving with my braces I have noticed the cavity, but wanted to wait to get it taken care of until the tooth turned enough. I go back in Friday morning to take care of the cavity. Next week Shadow has a dentist appointment. The last time she went to the dentist was April 2009 when I took her. For some reason her mom doesn't take her. I can't understand it, she doesn't have to pay anything to take her. Oh well. I finished physical therapy for my knee today. I actually enjoyed going and will now have to remember to keep exercising. Shadow is staying with us until towards the end of August. Today was a short day for Christy at school. We were going to go swimming as today has been one of the hottest of the year, unfortunately the pool is closed for repairs. So we came home and did chores.

This year at the Beasley Family Reunion I am going to provide a few things for the auction. I am taking some of the cards I have made as well as towels that I decorated. Mom let me bring one of her sewing machines home so I could make the towels. I like sewing and it seems like it has been forever since I have sewed.

David had to buy yet another uniform for work. This one they call their "Peanut Butter and Jellies". It's a brown short sleeved button down shirt, black dress pants and a black hat. David isn't too fond of them but I think they look nice. He gets to wear his ribbons with them. I will have to post a picture of him in them. I was thinking that I am going to do a post with David in each of his uniforms.

That's all for now. I can't wait for the Beasley Reunion in August. I haven't seen Sarah in a long time, probably four or five years. That's forever and I haven't seen Amber in forever either (not since January). Most of the Beasley's haven't met David or Shadow either. I am just excited to spend time with all my family :)
