Flight to St. George

Sunday morning March 7, 2010 Christy and I had a flight out of San Diego at 6:20am. We all got up early and David drove us to the airport. When we got there we went to the Delta kiosk and checked in. Since we only had carry on bags we got to skip the long lines for baggage. We said goodbye to David at the security line. I have to admit that David and I both got a little teary eyed. Christy and I sailed thru security. Then we went and checked in at the gate. We didn't have to wait long before they started boarding the plane. Christy got a window seat. Our first flight took us from San Diego to Salt Lake City. When we landed in Salt Lake we went and got some treats then went to the gate for our next flight and we checked in. We didn't have to wait long to board our second flight. Our second flight was on a SkyWest plane from Salt Lake to St. George. It was a little plane. Christy and I sat on row ten. Christy had a window seat again. There were only 28 passengers on the flight from Salt Lake to St. George. Christy loves to fly and I don't mind it, except for take off and landing make my tummy churn a little. Once we are in the air I have no problems. It was really nice to be able to fly right into St. George and avoid the long drive. Claudia picked us up from the airport and took Christy and I to Grandmas house.
