Navy Ball

We are too cheap to buy pictures from the ball, so we took our own. David had to wear his dress blues. I am so proud of him and he looks so sexy all spiffed up in his blues.

Saturday March 6, 2010 was the Navy Ball. The ball was held at the San Diego Air and Space Museum in Balboa Park. It was raining the night of the ball. The ball started at 6pm with the first hour scheduled for cocktails and walking thru the museum. At 7pm the opened the doors and the waiters started seating us. David and I sat at a table with some of his division members. We sat next to LS1 Davis. She is David's immediate supervisor. She was a wealth of information for me. She was easy to get along with and a very fun person to sit by. I can see why David likes working with her. We had a great time! We had chicken and vegetables for dinner. After the dinner there was a guest speaker then an awards ceremony and a cake cutting. After all that there was dancing. Our table was the furthest away from the front and center of all the action, we could barely hear the speakers and announcers. David and I did not dance. When we went up to the dance floor everyone was doing a line dance. So we decided to head home. It was so nice to be able to go out on a date with David. We a great young women from our ward babysit Christy.
