This past weekend was Wendy's wedding. Saturday April 17, 2010 Wendy Whitmore married Josh Lee. They were married on Laguna Beach. It was a very nice wedding. There was just a small group of people present including relatives and close friends. I was one of Wendy's bridesmaids. We had beautiful dresses and flowers. After the ceremony there was lots of picture taking. My girls had fun playing in the water. I bought their dresses at Kmart for $11 each. I thought they were perfect for a beach wedding. After the ceremony there was a reception at the church. Once again it was a small group of family and friends. The decorations were beautiful. There were little bottles with sand and shells inside for each guest and the centerpieces were glass dishes filled with shells and sand. Tammy made two beautiful cakes. The wedding cake was three tiers with shells and pearls enhancing the brown fondant and satin ribbons. The grooms cake was made to look like the beach and the ocean with Wendy fishing a scuba gear clad Josh out of the water. Tammy made chocolate shells to decorate the sides. We enjoyed yummy sandwiches and salad, and very yummy cake. There was dancing and visiting. Brent was so good to dance with both my girls. He even was sliding the girls on the floor. Shadow was very shy at first but finally went and danced and guess what she had a great time. I did not get very many pictures from the wedding or the reception. Saturday night Emma came home with us and had a sleepover with the girls. Sunday we woke up early and drove back to Anaheim to go to church with lots of family. After church we all went to the park for lunch and visiting. It was a fun filled weekend with lots of family. Thanks to mom and dad for taking Shadow home and enduring the over hour wait for Tasha to get there to pick up Shadow. It was a great weekend and I am glad that I was able to see so many family members!!!!

Oh my gosh, those bridesmaids dresses are beautiful! Seriously, I would purchase one for myself. :) And congrats for finding such a sweet deal on your girls' dresses! That's awesome. Laguna Beach is one of my most favorite places is the world; I'm sure the wedding was amazing.
