I had another crazy wonderful weekend. Friday I left work earlier, sped home finished packing the car and by 2:30 was on the road. It took me 6 1/2 hours to get to San Diego. Once there I called David to find out where to find our house. I love our house. So cute. It's a townhouse with a big front porch. We can't put anything out on the porch though(military housing rules). You walk in the front door and the front room/living room is on the left or you can head straight up the stairs. As you walk through the living room on the left there is a closet, a half bath and the laundry room. After the living room there is a half wall that divides it from the dining room. The dining room and kitchen and small pantry are at the back of the house on the first floor. The back door leads out to the back patio area and then to the two car garage. Up on the second floor at the top of the stairs is the master bedroom with a bathroom and walk in closet. Then as you go down the hall there is a closet and another bathroom. At the end of the hall is Christys' room, also with a walk in closet. Then you head up the stairs to the third floor. At the top of the stairs there is an open landing with a desk and a huge closet/storage room. Then there is Shadows' bedroom that has a bathroom and walk in closet inside. I absolutely love our new house. I can't wait till I can actually live there with David. And another good thing, Christy's school is about two blocks away from our house. The community we live in has a pool that is kiddie corner across from our house. Saturday I cleaned and put stuff away and went shopping for things we needed. Saturday afternoon we went to Chili's for lunch with Davids parents and Shadow. Sunday we got up early and went to our new ward. In Sunday school we had to introduce ourselves. Davids dad stood up and said I'm Dean Bushar, Davids dad and I got here on Thursday and one of my hearing aids stopped working and then yesterday the other stopped working so if you want me to hear you are gonna have to speak up. It was so funny, and embarrassing. Good old Dean. I laughed so hard. Anyways it seems like a good ward. Then after church we had lunch and then headed home. It took forever to get home. About thirty miles before Barstow it started raining. Ann and Shadow rode home with me. We stopped in Barstow so Shadow could eat and I could gas up. I dropped Shadow and Ann off at McDonalds and went to get gas. The two gas stations by McDonalds were both out of gas, so I drove across the freeway. The first station I tried three times and couldn't get any gas, come to find out they only had Supreme left. But by then I had put my card in the machine too many times so I couldn't get gas there. So I drove across the street to the Cheveron. Tried Plus gas first, no luck it was out. Then I found out(after waiting fifteen minutes for the attendant) that they only had regular left. And of course every one of the fifteen pumps had someone there filling their cars with regular gas. So I waited not so patiently for my tank to fill. What a joke!!!! Finally we were on the road again. Then on the south bound lane I notice there are no cars. Up ahead I see a helicopter on the freeway. There was a pretty bad accident on the south bound lanes. There was life flight, police and fire fighters on the scene. I am so glad that I was headed north. For miles there were cars parked with people everywhere. Finally around seven we got to Vegas and made our way to Shadows house. Can I just tell you that they live in a scary part of Vegas. I was trying so hard not to laugh as Ann knocked on the door. There was junk and garbage everywhere along their house and yard. Finally Tasha opened the door. This was my first time meeting Tasha(not impressed)!!!!! Anyways, enough of that. Finally Ann and I made it to St. George. At about ten thirty I made it home. My mom had let Christy stay up so I could visit with her and find out all the fun things she had done with Grandma Cosgrove(at this point it had been a little over a week since I had seen Christy). Then after getting her to bed and ready to fall asleep myself I remembered that none of my scrubs were clean. So up I got and did laundry. Today it was so hard to get out of bed. But here I am at work, worrying about David because I haven't talked to him since halfway through our trip home yesterday and he was upset when I talked to him last(something Tasha said). Anyways Ann and I had a great talk on the trip. Can I just tell you that I love David so much!!! I can't wait till we can live together. Anyways that was about the extent of my crazy, wonderful weekend!!!

I want to see pictures of your house!!!
Fun! Tasha seems like a real piece of work! Too bad for shadow. I hate that you are moving!!! And that's all I have to say.
I'm so glad you love your house. I can't wait 'til you post some pictures; it's sounds so cute! And Tasha...Oh the joys of joint custody...Granted, I've never had to deal with this problem, but I've been involved with numerous family members and friends; it's generally not a positive experience. Good luck with that!
I am glad you made it home safely. The joys of joint custody is just starting for you. All I can say is to keep your cool when you have to see Tasha and things might be cooler.
