A Friend in the Ward

Disclaimer: This post is not meant to offend anyone!

I have a FRIEND in my ward as well as out of church! I have always been jealous of grown women who have friends. I never really had my own "Chelsy" as Amber would say. I shared lots of "Chelsy's" with other people. One of the first sisters I met in this ward was Sister Jennie Williams. She is my go to person in the ward. She is the Achievement day leader and I am the Achievement day assistant. Sadly she is about to be released. She has a daughter a year older than Christy named Morgan. I really feel like we have become friends. Tonight after achievement days she asked what our family was doing on Saturday night. They invited us over for game night. Sadly we will be in St. George. I can honestly say that no other ward I have been in since being married have I had a FRIEND friend. Sure people are nice to you at church and if they happen to see you out in the everyday world some of them say "hi" and some choose not to acknowledge you. Our family and the Williams family seem to mesh well together. They are our kind of people (I hope you understand that, if not, well its kinda hard to explain). Anyways enough of my lame post.
Goodnight All!

P.S. Kellee H. I consider you family!!!

Yay for friends in the ward!!! They are dang hard to come by for some of us! I'm glad you found one. I finally (after a stinking year) have a good friend in my ward too. I have some girls who think they are my friends, but I consider them to be the bane of my existence! I'm not a big fan of political mormons. :)

Aw, yay! I'm the same way...To be fair, I never really had good "girlfriends." I also had lots and lots of boys who were my friends. Apparently once you're married that's a bit more frowned upon though.
