Last week David had leave so as a family we spent three days at Disneyland. Mom and Dad joined us. We went on the new Ariel ride, the new Star Tours and we watched the World of Color show. There are a lot of rides that pregnant women shouldn't go on so I rested a lot. Tuesday and Wednesday we all stayed together. Thursday we each split off in twos spending the day doing the rides we wanted. Wednesday afternoon Connie, Terry and Wendy joined us. We had fun visiting with them and we all had dinner together at the Golden Horseshoe. By Thursday afternoon we were all ready to go home. Three days is a lot at Disneyland. We had such a great time. The girls loved having Grandma and Grandpa Beasley all to themselves. My fingers were swollen each day. Tuesday was the hottest day while we were there. Luckily the morning and evening were just right.

Waiting for the World of Color show.
The World of Color show is in Disney's California Adventure. There are a few benches that are reserved for handicapped. Everyone else gets to stand and watch the show. It was a really good water and light show. Next time I think we will go earlier and find better spots to watch.
Friday morning after we had breakfast we left Anaheim and headed for St. George. Mom and Dad left about a half hour before us. We stopped after a little while so the girls could use the restroom. Christy threw up in the gas station. Poor girl. I think her tummy was not happy with all the sugar she had for breakfast. Then we headed out again. When we were about 20 miles north of Barstow we were involved in a four car accident. The car in front of us slowed down, so we slowed down, the truck behind us also slowed down but the car behind them was going to fast and was not able to stop in time. The last car hit the truck, which hit us and then we hit the car in the front. As soon as everyone calmed down I called mom and asked her if they could turn around and come pick us up. We were lucky, no one was hurt in any of the cars. The front car and the back car were able to drive away after the whole thing. Our car and the truck had to be towed back to Barstow. The car accident happened around 1:30 in the afternoon and it was over 100 degrees. The girls got to sit in the back of the police car while we waited for grandma and grandpa. I was only able to see the front of the car after the accident and I know that the only way that the airbags did not go off was because we were being watched over. The lap belt scratched my belly and scared the baby. And the shoulder strap bruised my neck. I can't even imagine what would have happened had the airbags gone off. My poor baby was all pulled up in the far left of my uterus as far away as he could get from where the seat belt had hurt me. After mom and dad picked us up we drove to the rest area and dad and David gave me a blessing. The Spirit was so incredibly strong. In the blessing I was told that everything would be all right with me and the baby and that our baby was needed here on Earth for a great missionary work that he is to do. David started crying while giving me the blessing. David rarely cries so I knew that the Spirit he felt was somehow if possible stronger than I was feeling it. I am so grateful that I have a husband and a Father that are able to give me a blessing in time of need. I know that all day Friday that guardian angels were attending to us.
Saturday Christy and I had orthodontic appointments. Molds were taken of my mouth to make my retainers and Christy had a few brackets replaced and a thicker wire put in. Dad let us drive his truck while we were in St. George. For some reason there were no rental cars available in St. George, Cedar City, Mesquite or Las Vegas until Monday. Crystal was so nice and offered to drive us home Saturday evening. She spent the night here and went to church with us and then she went home.
Over all we had a very eventful week and we recognized our blessing once again.
I am now 35 weeks along and I must say that I am ready to have this baby. My feet have been swollen since Friday morning. None of my shoes fit and I am just tired of carrying around all this extra weight and not being able to sleep. Whenever this little guy wants to come we are ready for him.
