This weekend David, Christy and I made the trek to St. George. We left Friday after David got off work. We got to St. George a little after one in the morning. We crashed at mom and dads house. On this trip our car was filled with stuff. We went to the case lot sales on base here and bought tons of stuff for us and for moms and sisters. We had to pack it all in the car to bring to St. George. Saturday morning I had an orthodontic appointment. I now have bumps on my front six upper teeth. So fun! It takes a little getting used to the bumbs. Good news I am getting close to being done with braces. Six more sets on the bottom and twelve more sets on the top. My teeth are looking great! My dad watched Christy while David and I were at my appointment. Christy and grandpa made waffles for breakfast. After my appointment David and I headed over to the finish line at the St. George marathon. David's brother Scott and his wife Selma both were running. We watched them both cross the finish line. Scott's time was 2:58, and I think Selma's was around 3:40. It was great to be able to be there and support them. Then we went to my parents house loaded up all our junk and headed to Essence Salon so Lucinda could cut David's hair. David gets free haircuts on base but they never look quite right. After that we went to lunch at Five guys burgers and fries with Lucinda and mom and dad Bushar. I will be honest and let you know that I was not that impressed. The burger was expensive and not as good as In N Out's burgers. After lunch we hit DI looking for bikes for the girls. Christy got a bike last Christmas and she left it outside and it was stolen. David and I decided that we would rather buy both girls used bikes for cheap so that it won't be such a big deal when they are mistreated and left outside to be stolen.. We also checked out the books. David found a design one that he wanted. Books are usually the only thing that I will let David buy at DI. I'm a proud person and I hate shopping there. After DI we went to Deseret Book and bought a few things. By that time Highway 18 had been reopened so we could go to Enterprise. We spent the rest of the weekend in Enterprise. I was(and still am) sick for the whole weekend. It is no fun being sick. I am also beginning to despise the drive between San Diego and St. George. I think it gets longer every time I drive it. At least this trip I had David to help with the driving. It was a busy weekend, and it was so good to see so many family members. It's great to be home!

Scott, Selma, Josie, Ellie, Scotty and Bentley after the marathon. Great job Scott and Selma!

You should post pics of your smile! I'm looking into the same kind, and I'm curious about how well they work. :) What are the 'bumps' on your teeth that you mention?
I wish my drive to St. George was only 6 hours!!! I can see how it would get tiring after awhile though. You go a lot! Lucky duck!
